The Cave And Basin National Historic Site Of Canada

Phone: (403) 762-1566
Cave Avenue
Banff AB

It commemorates the initial stages of Canada's National Park system. The project was started at this site in 1885 and has expanded to the wealth and abundance of parks Canada has today.

The national parks are represented here through exhibits and interactive displays, forming a complex index of Canada's best national parks.

The warm mineral springs located inside the cave contribute to creating an unforgettable atmosphere and highlight the beauty of nature even in the place where it is celebrated through modern displays and exhibits.

The emerald colored basin found outside givers this unique place its final touch of color and enchantment.
