A popular place for breakfasts and offers Ukrainian style breakfasts and lunches. Part of the local Nellie's chain.

Quincy's
A steak restaurant with a good selection of 'Canadian food'.

Hy's Steak House
A Calgary classic since 1955. Little has changed and Calgary is better for it, in this great little steak restaurant.

Peters' Drive-In
Another local legend not to be missed. Peter's Drive-In is possibly the best place in Canada for a flame-grilled burger.

Wildwood
This restaurant also has an in-house microbrewery. The restaurant is upstairs, above the pub.

Ethnic food
Calgary has many Asian, Italian, Ukrainian, Mexican, Brazillian, Spanish, Argentinian and vegetarian restaurants and cafes. Most you can find by simply wandering around downtown or the shopping areas of the suburbs and neighbourhoods.
