Getting to British Columbia

Most major airlines fly to Vancouver and many regional routes connect Vancouver to the rest of BC. International flights also arrive in Victoria.

BC has a very good highway system which connects all the major towns and cities.

Most cities are also connected by bus service and the Rocky Mountaineer train runs from Calgary through Kamloops to Vancouver. VIA Rail also offer a train service which takes a more northern route going from Toronto through Edmonton to Kamloops and Vancouver with a few other stops in BC along the way. Prince Rupert and Prince George are also accessible by VIA Rail.

BC Ferries operates one of the most sophisticated ferry services in the world. Routes along the west coast connect almost 50 ports of call.
