Old Remo Limestone Fossil Beds
traces of very early ocean life in limestone which was baked into marble when the Coast Mountain Range rose. These crinoid stems, bryzoa, corals and bivalve shells are from the Permian period, 280 – 230 million years ago.
Driftwood Canyon Provincial Park
A private donation of 35 acres to the Parks Branch of BC by the late Gordon Harvey, who was a resident of Driftwood Canyon, and a later addition by the Crown of 22 acres makes up this park.
