The relaxed atmosphere of Kitsilano makes it an ideal location to escape the bustle of the rest of the city. Kitsilano, or Kits as it is known, is mainly a residential neighbourhood with two major streets running east-west where most of the shops can be found - West 4th Avenue and West Broadway.
There are plenty of places to explore in Kitsilano including Kitsilano Beach and Vanier Park, home to the Vancouver Museum, Maritime Museum and the Vancouver Planetarium.
