South of the Granville Street Bridge is South Granville, one of the city's thriving shopping and entertainment areas. The mix of stores selling clothing, antiques, and art makes South Granville a popular place to go shopping or just window shop.
Most of the shops on South Granville are located south of West 5th Avenue to 16th Avenue.
South Granville is also Highway 99 and a busy commuter route and link from Vancouver International Airport to downtown. Many of the transportation links from east and west of the city meet at West Broadway and Granville Street.
