Harbour Centre is Vancouver 's tallest building at a height of 581 feet. Simon Fraser University has its Harbour Centre campus located in part of the building, including several auditoriums, a library and a book store. The rest of the centre is full of amenities for the public. There is an excellent internet café, coffee shops, a pharmacy, medical clinic, liquor store and food fair. The various shops compose two floors, after which there are 28 floors of offices, before the tower.

The tower is open every day of the year from 9 am to 9 pm . To get to the top of Harbour Centre, there is a glass elevator that takes 50 seconds to get to the top, and offers fantastic views along the way. Once there, you will find 360 degree views of Vancouver and the harbour.

There are free guided tours available, every hour on the hour, that last between 25-40 minutes, which detail some of Vancouver 's best attractions, sites, and trivia. You can also find information about Vancouver 's history in relation to the view, as well as video guide kiosks and coin operated binoculars.

Your ticket also gets you free entrance later that evening to see the city at night. Once you've visited Harbour Centre's tower, you might want to stay for lunch or dinner at the Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant, which is located in the tower above the viewing area. The restaurant is a window-wrapped dinning room and bar, with amazing views. The restaurant specializes in West Coast cuisine.
