Eco-Experiences in New Brunswick

You’ll definitely want to have your camera ready as you walk through magnificent collections of 45,000 flowers, plants and shrubs at the Kingsbrae Garden, recent award-winner of the Project EverGreen Canada National Stewardship Award. The artfully designed gardens have composts to dispose of clippings, and as well they use animal feed from leftovers of the Fairmont Algonquin kitchen.

There’s nothing quite like paddling in waters that are world-famous. Rent a kayak and paddle in the Bay of Fundy, taking in the magnificent sights and local sea life – but beware of the strong currents that bring on the record-breaking tides.
