Going to the Forillon National Park of Canada is like seeing where the land ends and where the enormous ocean begins. Situated in the Gaspe Peninsula, this place was the first park to open in Quebec back in 1970. This park is home to forests, cliffs, waterfalls, mossy rocks from the end of the Appalachian Mountains, sea coast or dunes. Consequently, the wildlife that one can see in the area consists of whales, seals, moose, seabirds, black bears, porcupines, cormorants and other animals that inhabit the forests. To this an impressive number of arctic alpine plants is added. There are several hiking trails that you can follow along this park that spreads over 244 square kilometers. Visit the park and stay over night as the scenery is wonderful at the sunset.
