Sirmilik National Park of Canada

The Sirmilik is one of the protected national parks of Canada. The park is divided into three distinctive sections, namely the Bylot Island, the Oliver Sound and the Borden Peninsula. Each part has a distinctive feature. The Bylot Island is a mountainous area with glaciers and ice fields, inhabited by myriad seabird colonies. The Oliver Sound is actually a long fiord, where one can go boating, canoeing, hiking or camping. The Borden Peninsula is a flat terrain with valleys and rivers. All in all, the landscape in the zone is spectacular, combining several distinct forms. There are special hiking trails made for people that want to explore the park and there are camping amenities that will make your stay more pleasant.
