Tuktut Nogait National Park of Canada

Discover the spectacle of the wild tundra, wide rivers, dangerous canyons and loads of animals and plants: this is the Tuktut Nogait National Park. The name signifies young caribou, so you expect to find herds of caribou here- which is possible, but as a matter of fact, the Tuktut Nogait is the name of a rare gem that is to be found in the areas. The park is located just 170 kilometres from the Arctic Circle and the wildlife is according to the climate: grizzly bears, wolves, muskoxen, Bluenose West caribous, arctic chars, and all sorts of raptors. The inhabitants of the area have been the creators of great cultures, some of which today's Inuvialuit people still keep sacred.
