Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada

The Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada is made up of both mild prairie landscape and abrupt mountains that make this site simply amazing. The park protects several species of wildlife and in addition to that a very narrow part of the Rocky Mountains. One of the main attractions of the park is the Waterton Lake, which is presently the deepest lake in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. There are relaxation amenities round this lake and one can go kayaking or canoeing or boating on the lake. It was as early as 1932 that the Waterton Lakes Park joined the Montana's Glacier National Park, resulting in the Waterton- Glacier International Peace park, which is Canada's and even the world's first such site.
