Located in the heart of downtown, this community museum has been designated a Registered Heritage Structure by the Heritage Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador. The building was constructed in 1925 to accommodate a Courtroom, Customs, Telegraph and Post Office. The ground floor windows are still secured with bars, reminding us of its past colourful history. The museum exhibits social, cultural and natural history of Corner Brook. Theatrical performances and living interpretations on the City’s history take place at various times throughout the year. The museum operates seven days per week from June to August. Arrangements can be made during the off season.
