Gander - Newfoundland & Labrador
To most Gander is a stopping point along the east-west Trans Canada Highway. Gander is also home to some of Canada's richest aviation history. Since World War II Gander has been a centre for military aviation exercises and today remains the home to a large Canadian Forces Base and a large airport which connects some of the smaller communities in Newfoundland and Labrador.
