About Delta Pinestone Resort

Who says a winter get away means getting away from winter?

The Haliburton Highlands, a county of lakes, rivers and wilderness, abounds with activities and experiences awaiting your visit. The area offers many outdoor adventures including snowmobiling (rentals and equipment available on site), ice fishing and hiking. Down hill skiing and snowboarding are available at Sir Sam’s – one of Ontario’s best family ski destinations. We are also in the heart of the Haliburton Nordic Trails and offer weekly dog sledding tours with Winterdance Dog Sledding (Saturday).

Guests are also encouraged to join one of the many guided tours (additional charge) opportunities including ATV, Snowmobiling and Hummers.

Haliburton also plays host to many winter events such as Go Snowmobiling Give it a Try Tour (Jan 29 – 31 at Delta Pinestone Resort), Haliburton Frost Festival (Feb 13-15.) and various hockey tournaments, curling events and weekend ice racing.

And, don’t forget about our best attribute – nature itself. Spot a wolf at the Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve’s Wolf Centre, sled through 1000’s of acres of pristine forests or any one of the many trail experiences of the Haliburton Highlands Trails and Tour Network.

Delta Pinestone Resort is located in the heart of the Highlands, between the quaint villages of Minden and Haliburton. Whether you seek a romantic interlude, a family adventure or just some quiet time, our recently renovated resort offers the perfect location for your vacation getaway.
