About Delta London Armouries

With all the attributes of a big city, this small town is full of surprises. London, also known as the Forest City, boasts miles of beautiful pathways and acres of rolling parkland. The home of Sir Frederick G. Banting, co-discoverer of insulin, this little city was originally set to be “New London” the capital of Upper Canada in 1793.

Discover why the Royal Canadian Regiment has earned 54 Battle Honours at the Royal Canadian Regiment Museum. Take part in the fun and games at the Western Fair or decorate your walls with your findings at Art in the Heart of London, the annual art show at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Originally constructed in 1905, it was the location for training Canadian soldiers during the two great world wars, children will be fascinated by the archival photographs, uniforms and other wartime artifacts on display throughout the Delta London Armouries.
