It was on this same location more than 150 years ago that John Kinder Labatt started brewing beer. It was the beginning of a Canadian company success story so impressive that today the name Labatt is synonymous with great tasting beer. Since the company's founding, the Labatt Brewing Company has become an internationally renowned brewer. In 1847, Labatt produced about a 1,000 bottles of beer a year. Currently, our hometown facility provides 720,000,000 botlles of beer annually. Today, Labatt is a proud member of Inbev, the world's largest brewer by volume. Much has changed at Labatt since that first year, but one thing remains the same - the company's commitment to brewing great beer.
