Métis-Sur-Mer - Quebec

The village of Métis-sur-Mer is a village on the south coast of the Saint Lawrence River and is located 42km south of Matane and the ferry crossing. The name "Métis"comes from a native Mi'kmaq word meaning "meeting place"; "sur-mer" refers to its location on the Saint Lawrence River.
