Built on a small creek and around a man-made lake, Regina, Saskatchewan's provincial capital, is in the south of the province where trees are rare and wheat fields plentiful. The sunny city is home to the RCMP training facility and acts as the commercial, financial and industrial centre for Saskatchewan. Despite this, after dark just about everything closes down.
