Saskatchewan’s sunny capital city is the perfect place to Explore More. Whether you’re just visiting Regina, or putting down roots, you can call this friendly prairie city home. With over 300,000 trees – most of which were hand planted – Regina is an oasis on the prairies.
Regina is also home to over 100 parks, the largest of which is the Wascana Centre. This 2300 acre park is home to some of Regina’s most popular attractions, including the Legislative Building, Conexus Arts Centre, MacKenzie Art Gallery, Royal Saskatchewan Museum, and Saskatchewan Science Centre. The Devonian Pathway is an eight-kilometre asphalt multi-use trail running along Wascana Creek from east to west. Designed for cycling, walking or jogging in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter, it features rest spots and rain shelters.
Regina hosts many major conventions, trade shows, cultural activities and sporting events. IPSCO Place is the site of such events as Buffalo Days and the Canadian Western Agribition.
As the sun sets, the city comes alive; from quiet and intimate to busy and bustling, Regina has something for everyone. From patios and pubs to the bright lights and big sounds of the Warehouse District, you’ll have the chance to experience a variety of nightclubs, award winning brews, fine cuisine and the best in local and Canadian sounds.
