The Bald Eagle is Canada's largest bird of prey. With a wing span of over 2m and weighing in at around 7kg, the Bald Eagle is a fierce predator and is often not bothered by people. Bald Eagles are seen landing next to picnickers and campers hoping to pick up a scrap. Most of the time adult Bald Eagles kill their own prey which consists of fish, rodents and other birds.
