Whales are often spotted in the coastal areas of British Columbia, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia and in the St. Lawrence River in Quebec. Organised whale-watching boat trips can be found in the most popular areas and provide excellent photo opportunities. Some of the more common visitors to Canadian water include Orca, Killer Whales, Humpback Whales, Minke Whales and the mysterious white Beluga Whales.
