Squirrels
Canada is home to a variety of squirrels including the flying Squirrel, Douglas Squirrel and the Eastern Grey Squirrel. Although its name is the Grey Squirrel, this the most common squirrel in Canada comes in two varieties - black and grey - although they are both the same species. Most squirrels feed on nuts and seeds which they buries and find again by its acute sense of smell.
