How to get to the Yukon

Getting to the Yukon is very easy all year round.

Air North (Yukon’s Airline) has regular services to Whitehorse from Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary and at just over 2 hours flying time from Edmonton many airlines can provide same day connections from across North America. Air Canada also provides service and First Air connects to other northern communities. Condor Airlines operates a direct service to Whitehorse, twice a week from Frankfurt, Germany May to October.

BC Ferries and Alaska Marine Highway provide ferry routes up the Inside Passage from Prince Rupert, BC and Bellingham, WA with connections starting on Vancouver Island or Greater Vancouver.

The Alaska Highway and Stewart-Cassiar Highways from British Columbia pass through the southern Yukon regions. The Yukon has over 5,000km of well maintained highways giving visitors excellent opportunities to explore by road.

Greyhound Canada provides bus services to Whitehorse and other Yukon communities with connections in Alaska, British Columbia and Alberta.
